Partner Spotlight

Rockford, IL, November 3, 2011 — NOD is pleased to recognize Illinois Growth Enterprises (IGE) for its commitment to excellence in promoting employment for people with disabilities. In particular, NOD honors IGE’s outstanding dedication to quality services, business relationship management, and creating effective local and national partnerships.  In partnership with NOD’s Bridges to Business program and Lowe’s, IGE facilitated the on-boarding of 30 individuals at the local Lowe’s Distribution Center.

One of these individuals—Dan—had spent years looking for work before IGE and NOD came to his aid.  IGE assisted Dan in preparing for the workplace, and worked with Lowe’s to secure full-time employment. Dan is now employed full-time with benefits, and is thrilled to be fulfilling his career aspirations.
