Consultation and Technical Assistance
One of our top priorities is to help organizations develop practices and policies that will maximize the talent of people with disabilities as they seek to enter and succeed in the workforce. Toward this goal, NOD provides consultation and technical assistance to state, local, and federal agencies; employers; and employment service providers.
We work with organizations and agencies to strengthen their capacity in multiple areas, such as developing high-quality programming, implementing effective data collection systems, and establishing methods of continuous program improvement. Our staff offer a wide range of expertise and experience, from workforce development; to education and youth development; to policy, practice, and program design.
Our clients have included the US Army, university research centers seeking to improve statewide policy and practice in area of workforce development, and the AbilityOne Institute for Economic Empowerment, who engaged NOD to advise ways to improve their services to veterans with severe disabilities seeking employment.
