Paulina Romero joined the National Organization on Disability (NOD) as Senior Manager of Partnerships in 2023, where she collaborates with Leadership Council members to strengthen workplace systems and culture as a recognized Disability Inclusion Specialist. She leads the creation of all Council resources—including written guides, workshop templates, and short-form videos—and has been developing partnerships with law firms to provide Council members with legal insights on the evolving landscape of inclusion and accessibility.
Paulina is a passionate advocate for disability inclusion, shaped by her lived experience growing up with a disability. She is committed to removing barriers in the workplace and helping organizations build environments where people with disabilities can thrive. Her work focuses on measurable, systemic change: enhancing awareness, improving accommodation processes, and driving long-term accessibility through strategic, incremental goals.
Paulina brings cross-sector experience from both non- and for-profit settings. Most recently, as senior regional manager at iD Tech, she played a key role in developing inclusive talent acquisition and HR practices for the entire in-person program division and directly overseeing their implementation across all programs in Massachusetts. She now leverages these insights to guide companies through transformational change. A seasoned public speaker, she has facilitated trainings for both small groups and large audiences and is known for her engaging, approachable style.
Her lifelong commitment to equity and justice led her to earn a B.A. in Peace and Justice Studies from Wellesley College, along with professional certificates from Cornell University, Wharton School of Business, and the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Outside of work, Paulina juggles a range of hobbies, from reading and fiber art to caring for her collection of over 150 houseplants. Most importantly, she loves adventuring with her partner and their dog, a Rough Collie named Papaya—who, yes, looks just like Lassie.
