Driving Change
A Future Without Barriers
Since 1982, we have led the charge to remove barriers and expand opportunity for people with disabilities.

Our Focus Areas
From AI hiring bias to inaccessible digital platforms, mental health stigma to wage gaps, our work targets the systems that shape how—and whether—disabled people thrive in the workforce. We drive innovation in workforce programs, policies, and practices to increase disability hiring and advancement. Our current efforts center on mental health, technology and careers; three areas where the challenges are great—and where bold, coordinated action can lead to transformative, lasting change. Each focus area is essential to creating a future where all people with disabilities can participate fully and thrive at work.
Research and policy advocacy underpin and advance our efforts to drive systems change. Findings from our research inform the policies, best practices, and programs that we share with employers. Our policy advocacy efforts help to create the context and infrastructure where people with disabilities can excel.
