Margaret Ling joined the National Organization on Disability (NOD) in 2016 and currently serves as Senior Manager of Partnerships. Margaret is a trusted expert and resource to members of the Leadership Council, which includes many Fortune 500 and global companies, advising them on strategies to implement practices and policies that support employees with disabilities.
Margaret also leads NOD’s Virtual Career Fair, a flagship initiative connecting hiring employers to students and alumni with disabilities seeking careers. As a passionate advocate, Margaret’s work in this endeavor aims to affect the persistent employment gap for disabled Americans, which is half the rate of their nondisabled peers. Margaret also manages NOD’s Workforce Solutions projects, including delivering disability-focused training, reviewing hiring practices, and conducting policy assessments through an inclusive lens to drive sustainable change.
Beyond her work at NOD, Margaret shapes national policy as a member of the Think College National Coordinating Center Project Advisory Committee, where she supports the advancement of inclusive higher education for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
She is usually accompanied by Vixen, her loyal service dog and constant partner in championing accessibility and disability dialogue around New York City and beyond.
