Celebrity Emcee
Identity and the Disability Experience will be emceed by renowned comedian, actress, writer, and disability advocate, Maysoon Zayid! From headlining comedy tours at home and abroad to delivering the most-watched TED Talk of 2014, Maysoon uses humor to challenge stereotypes, spark conversation, and promote inclusion.

Award Ceremony
Our awards ceremony will celebrate innovators in disability rights, activists, and ERG leaders fostering inclusivity and equitable opportunities.
Judy Heumann Award for Excellence  in Disability Rights Advocacy
Named in honor the “Mother of the Disability Rights Movement,” this award celebrates an individual who not only carries Judy Heumann’s spirit forward but amplifies it.
Maria Town is the President and CEO of the American Association of People with Disabilities. She was Director of Houston’s Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities and served in the Obama White House, leading disability engagement. Her expertise includes youth development, leadership, and career readiness promotion.
Alan Reich Award for Innovation
Named after pioneering disability rights advocate and the National Organization on Disability founder Alan Reich, this award recognizes someone who is also creating a world where people with disabilities can achieve dignity through equitable opportunity.
Rhonda Crichlow is the Senior Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer at Charter Communications, leading diversity and inclusion efforts for 100,000+ employees and overseeing community impact initiatives. Previously, she held leadership roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals and practiced law. Crichlow serves on multiple boards, including the National Organization on Disability.
ERG Excellence Award
This award celebrates an ERG (Employee Resource Group) leader successfully creating a culture of awareness, understanding, and advancement of underrepresented groups.
Jack is being honored for co-founding Abbott's disABILITY network, which has grown to over 1,900 members in 30 countries, and for his dedication to advancing inclusion through sports, particularly as a referee and coach for athletes with disabilities.
Manager of IP Operations and Co-Chair of Abbott's disABILITY Employee Network, Susan is being recognized for her leadership in co-founding and growing Abbott's disABILITY network to over 1,900 members globally. She has nearly four decades of experience in Intellectual Property and leads the Women's Ministry at her church outside of work.
